# Agencies and branches

> Organise your business into agencies and branches: head office, branch, airport counter or pickup point, in several cities and countries, with the options offered to customers.

An owner can have several agencies, and each agency several branches. A branch has its own address, map position and type. Cars, employees and pickups can be attached to a specific branch. Only the owner creates a branch; the agency manager can edit a branch's details, except the currency and tax rate.

## Steps

1. Open **More › Branches**. The list shows the head office first, then the branches.
2. Tap **Add a branch** and fill in the form.
3. Tap **Save**. The branch appears under its agency.
4. To change a branch, open it and tap **Edit**.
5. To change the agency you are working on, open **Choose agency** from the header.

**Branches, branch form**

**After you save:** the branch becomes a pickup place for the cars attached to it and appears in the fleet and pickup filters. Its bookings and finance roll up into the parent agency and into "All agencies".

**After the action:** the app remembers your choice and shows that agency's screens. It is kept the next time you open the app.

## Settings that change your prices and operations

These settings are on the agency record (**Edit**) and in [Agency settings](https://docs.drivego.thesuperplatform.com/en/guides/agency/settings):

- **Currency.** All the agency's bookings are made in this currency. Amounts in different currencies are never added together without conversion.
- **Tax rate.** Applied to the rental price, insurance and options to work out the "Taxes and fees" line.
- **Automatic booking confirmation.** When on, a customer booking is confirmed straight away: the invoice and the pickup are created. When off, it stays **Pending**, with the car held, until you confirm it. See [Bookings](https://docs.drivego.thesuperplatform.com/en/guides/agency/bookings).
- **Options offered to customers.** Additional driver, GPS, child seat and roadside assistance. Each has a rate and a calculation: per day or once per booking. A branch can offer its own options on top of the agency's.

## What happens next

- An option you switch off is no longer offered at the **Options and insurance** step of new bookings. Existing bookings keep their price.
- A new branch is only visible to customers if the agency is verified.

## Troubleshooting

| Situation | Cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| **Add a branch** is missing | Only the owner creates branches. | Sign in with the owner account. |
| Currency or tax rate cannot be changed | These fields are reserved for the owner. | Ask the owner. |
| "This option is not offered by the agency" when booking | The option was switched off or does not exist for this branch. | Switch it on in the agency's or branch's options. |
| A manager cannot see a branch | They only belong to another agency. | Add them to this agency from [Team](https://docs.drivego.thesuperplatform.com/en/guides/agency/team). |
