# Manage the fleet

> Add your cars, keep their status, photos and mileage up to date, and find each car's history: inspections, damage, maintenance, accidents and bookings.

The **Fleet** screen lists all the agency's cars with their status. From there you add a car, open its record and reach its calendar, its insurance fees and its history. The owner, the agency manager and the fleet manager can change cars; employees can read them and only add a note.

## Steps: add a car

1. In **Fleet**, tap **Add a car**.
2. Fill in the identity, features, location and condition, then add the photos.
3. Tap **Save**. The car is created as Available.
4. Add at least one price, otherwise the car does not appear in search: [Pricing rules](https://docs.drivego.thesuperplatform.com/en/guides/agency/pricing-rules).
5. Add its insurance fees: [Insurance fees per car](https://docs.drivego.thesuperplatform.com/en/guides/agency/insurance-fees).

**After the action:** filters apply at once and stay visible as chips. Beyond 20 cars, the list loads more as you scroll.

**After you save:** the car is created as **Available** and appears in the fleet. It only appears in customer search once it has a price and the agency is verified.

**After you save:** changes are visible to the team at once. The "from" price shown to customers is recalculated every night and whenever a price changes.

## Car statuses

| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Available | Can be rented. |
| Rented | On rent. Set automatically at the end of a pickup. |
| Reserved | Booked for a coming period. |
| Maintenance | Being serviced or repaired, when the maintenance makes the car unavailable. |
| Accident | Off the road after an accident, until the follow-up ends. |
| Unavailable | Taken off rental by the agency. |
| For sale | Sale listing published. |
| Sold | Sold, no longer rentable. |

## What happens next

- Each inspection updates the car's mileage and fuel level.
- The car appears on rental invoices under its name and plate.

## Troubleshooting

| Situation | Cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| "Some details are invalid. Fix the highlighted fields." on the plate | The plate or chassis number already exists. | Check what you typed: a car cannot be registered twice. |
| The car does not appear in search | No price, agency not verified, or car sold. | Add a price and check the agency's status. |
| **Edit** is missing | You are an employee: the fleet is read only. | Add a note, or ask the fleet manager. |
