# Profile, documents and favourites

> Update your contact details and licence, find your favourite cars and agencies, save searches with alerts, and set language, appearance and security.

The **Profile** tab gathers what concerns you: your contact details, your driving licence, your favourite cars and agencies, your saved searches and your settings. This information is reused automatically in your next bookings.

## Steps

1. Tap **Profile** in the navigation bar. The **Profile and documents** screen opens.
2. Check your name, phone and photo, and correct them if needed.
3. Enter your driving licence number and its expiry date.
4. Tap **Save**.
5. For your favourites, tap **Favourites** in the navigation bar.
6. For your saved searches, open **Saved searches** from your profile.
7. For language, appearance, security and notifications, open **Settings**.

**Profile and documents**

**After you save:** your details and licence are reused at each booking. A language change applies at once to the app and to the next emails.

## Favourites

**Favourites**

**After the action:** tap a card to open the car or agency page. Without an account, the tab offers to sign you in.

To add a favourite, tap the favourite icon on a car or agency page.

## Saved searches

**Saved searches**

| Field | Required | Values or format | Example | What it means |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Title | Yes when saving | Free text | SUV in Marrakech in July | The name you give the search. |
| Criteria | No (display) | City, dates, category, price, gearbox | Marrakech, SUV, under MAD 600 / day | The saved filters. |
| Alert | No | Switch | On | Tells you when a car matches. |
| Open | No | Tap the row | | Runs the search again with the same filters. |

**After the action:** a search is saved from the **Search** screen, with its filters and a title.

## Settings

| Setting | Where | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| **Language** | **Settings**, **Language** | French, English or Arabic. In Arabic, the whole interface runs right to left. |
| **Appearance** | **Settings** | **System**, **Light** or **Dark**. |
| **Security** | **Settings** | **Biometric sign-in devices**: your devices with Face ID or fingerprint, when they were added, when they were last used, and a **Remove** button. |
| **Notifications** | **Settings** | Turn notifications on or off on this device, and choose the categories. |

Face and fingerprint recognition stay on your device: DriveGo never receives them. See [Face ID and fingerprint](https://docs.drivego.thesuperplatform.com/en/getting-started/face-id).

## What happens next

- Removing a biometric sign-in device asks you to confirm your identity. The removed device can no longer sign you in without a password.

## Troubleshooting

| Situation | Explanation | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| "Enter a valid phone number." | The number does not match the chosen dial code. | Check the **Dial code** and the number. |
| Biometric sign-in is missing from **Security** | "This device has no compatible biometric unlock." | Use your password on this device. |
| A favourite has disappeared | The car was sold or the agency is no longer visible on DriveGo. | Look for a similar car. |
| "Sign in to manage your account security." | You are not signed in. | Sign in, then come back to **Settings**. |
