# Reporting an accident and following its stages

> Report an accident on site with the place, weather, injuries, police, third parties and photos, then complete the follow-up stages assigned to you.

**Who can use this:** Agency employee
**In the app:** Tasks › Accident report
**URL:** https://docs.drivego.thesuperplatform.com/en/guides/employee/accidents
**Updated on:** 2026-10-25

An accident starts a nine-stage follow-up, from the report to the car being rentable again. In the field, you file the report with all useful evidence, then complete the stages assigned to you: documents, technical inspection and final inspection. The other stages, which involve the insurer and costs, belong to the agency managers.

> **Safety first**
>
> Get people to safety and call emergency services if needed. The report in DriveGo comes after.
