Reference
DriveGo's rules in plain words: roles, statuses, how prices are calculated, insurance, accident follow-up, notifications, offline mode and glossary.
The guides describe what you do, screen by screen. The reference describes the rules behind those screens: who can see and do what, what each status on screen means, how a price is calculated, when you get a notification and what works without a network.
Roles and permissionsWho can see and do what in DriveGo: agency, customer and company roles explained simply, plus the information only some roles can see.StatusesEvery status shown in DriveGo: its badge, what it means, what changes it and what comes next, for cars, bookings, pickups, damage, accidents and sale listings. How the price is calculatedHow DriveGo calculates a rental price: the most specific price wins, weekly and monthly prices, discounts, insurance, extras, taxes and deposit, with examples in MAD.Insurance: what the agency pays, what the customer paysThe difference between the policy an agency pays its insurer and the insurance charged to the customer on each car: included cover and upgrades, calculation modes and examples in MAD.Accident follow-up in nine stepsThe nine steps of an accident follow-up, who can finish each one, the order to follow, skipping by the owner and what happens to the car.The notifications you receiveWhat DriveGo sends you and when, by role: notification on your phone, email or message in the app, quiet hours, settings and emails.Offline modeWhat works in DriveGo without a network, what waits for the connection, what is disabled, and how to follow what you sent in the Sync centre screen.GlossaryDriveGo words explained simply: booking, handover, deposit, rate, included insurance, extra, credit note, accident follow-up and more.
How to read the reference
- Statuses are shown with the label and badge you see in the app.
- Worked examples use illustrative prices in Moroccan dirhams (MAD). They are not any real agency's prices; they only show how the calculation works.
- Messages in quotes are the ones the app displays, word for word.
